BAMZOOKI

This software is 3D creature creation. Bamzooki gives you a full set of tools which allows you to build full colour 3D 'Zooks', animate them and try them out in various built in 3D scenarios.

There is no fighting or weird settings but pure technical skill in designing a good zook. In the Zook world, there is real friction and mass so pupils will have to make careful choices. Finished Zooks can be uploaded to the BBC website and winners in various categories get the chance to go to the BBC centre and take part in the 'Bamzooki' prime time television program, pitting their zooks against others in standard tasks.

It can be downloaded from the BBC website HERE but you need to lie about your age as it susually only available to the under 15's!

Bamzooki runs excellently on RM networks and though 3D, will run with most computers without needing a graphics accelerator card. The program has a setup utility which allows you to choose graphics detail and it can be run in a window or full screen.
